New Organizational Development at Medica-Zenica!
Small changes, but we remain with you
Since February 2007 Medica Zenica was experiencing some organizational changes caused, at the first place, by cuttings of financial resources which in past have enabled us to offer community-based services in our full capacity. However, we managed to reorganize and to preserve main organizational parts. This in particular stands for those kinds of services that Medica provides and which are not available at public institutions or are not sufficient.
- Women’s Therapy Centre (Shelter and Counseling Centre), as well as Medica’s management and administration moved out from previous location (at Mokusnice 10, known as Medica 1).
- Shelter, Administration and Management are now located at Krivace 40, and are sharing facilities with Medica’s Workshops (Women’s Education Centre previously known as Medica 2).
- Counseling Centre is now located at the building of the Municipal Centre for Social Work (side door, but also trough main Center’s reception gate), and works Mondays and Wednesdays (08:00 to 16:00) and Thursdays (10:00 to 18:00)
- Gyneacological and Internal Medicine Practice are not operational in a way it used to be. Our work in field of women’s physical health will be continued through cooperation with state’s public health institutions.
- Medical team will continue with outreach work (Mobile Clinic “Martha”)for specific groups of women – by visiting rural areas and places without available gyneacological health facilities.
- Infoteka and Kekec (Medica’s childcare unit) remain at the “old” location (Mokusnice 10).
